There's also great striper bass fishing on Lake Murray with a fish cleaning station available for your use! In addition there's two boat ramps on the premises to launch your own boat and a dock to moor at! The property offers shared watercraft as well, including 2 Pedal Kayaks, 3 Regular Kayaks, a Canoe, 2 Paddle Boards, Floats, Children's 4 seat paddle boat, and a 15' bouncer on the lake when available during the summer season. The sidewalks around the property are nice to stroll on with awesome views of the lake, fountains, and a pond. Walks in the evening are especially nice when the stars are shining brightly. Island's Sunset Gold Guest Room has a queen bed sleeping 2, it's own private bath, 2 nightstands with lamps, a dresser, a desk by the window to view the lake, two side chairs, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, and an exterior entrance to the rear deck. This room is our smallest guest room. It does not have kitchen or laundry facilities, however, there are lots of restaurant choices nearby, as well as a propane grill on the back deck. \*\*\*\*If more space is needed, additional properties on site can be booked such as: Property Listing #3311929 - Island's Sunset Blue Guest Room which is the largest of the guest rooms and sleeps 2 in a king bed, has a desk with a beautiful view of the lake through the large bay windows, a TV, a recliner chair, a private bath, and a private exterior entrance. This room also has a fridge/freezer/microwave combo, and a single serve coffee maker. There is no kitchen or laundry facilities, but there is a propane grill for use on the back deck. You are right on the lake. Nature wildlife to watch. My room was beautifully decorated. The owner was so nice and helpful throughout my stay. I was officiating the funeral of a dear friend and she was kind and helpful during a challenging time. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake and beach, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, giant connect 4, giant chess, horse shoes and rooms are comfortable and spotless. We had a wonderful stay at the Island Sunset Guest Room on beautiful Lake Murray. Our host Debra and Dennis provided exceptional service and made our experience even more enjoyable. The room itself was perfect and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed by the pool and sauna facilities, which added an extra level of relaxation to our trip. Though our stay was brief, it was truly unforgettable. Most accommodating host the I have ever experienced!!! Everything at this lovely place was even better than described! Our only regret is that my wife and I were here for such a short time for a wedding and really didn't get to enjoy all the extras that come with staying here. From the pool to the hot tub, kayaks, lake views, pier, boat launch, fire pit on the beach, anyone can find something to love about it. Debra is the absolute best host we've ever dealt with and hasn't overlooked anything. My wife absolutely loved the rooms and how Debra has decorated them.
