THE BEST HOME EVER!!!

This was by far the best vacation rental Iā€™ve stayed at in a while. Carla was very attentive and helpful. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and a house fully stocked with everything we needed. House was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the backyard would definitely recommend 10/10

Great house, great location, great host

This home was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, very roomy. The kitchen is very well stocked. We loved the thoughtful extras all over the place - a closet with stuff you might have forgotten to pack. She had fresh baked cookies and chocolates when we arrived. Just super nice. The neighborhood is quiet and save. The beds are very comfortable. Just can't say enough about this place. Will definitely rent again.

This was our 5th or 6th stay at Sweet Retreat, and as always, it was perfect. I cannot express the thought and care that is in this house. Besides the fact that it is pristinely clean and comfortable, Carla has it absolutely stocked with anything and everything you could want or need! It is so organized šŸ¤©I love spending early mornings on the back porch watching the birds devour the full bird feeders, my kids always dive headfirst into the fresh chocolate chip cookies, the candy on the coffee table is a lovely treat as we are winding down the day. We really feel like this is our home away from home, and we look forward to our time here every year. Thank you Carla- you make it so great!!

We had the most incredible stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered ā€” from the cozy linens and fully stocked kitchen to the welcoming touches like fresh cookies waiting for us.The location couldnā€™t have been more perfect ā€” able to go for walks during the day around the circle and so close to our family on Lake Murray. The house felt tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. We especially loved relaxing on the deck in the evenings, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of nature.The host was absolutely wonderful ā€” responsive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best stay possible. Communication was clear and easy, and check-in/check-out were seamless.Weā€™ve stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, but this one truly stands out. It felt like a home away from home ā€” only better! We canā€™t wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a five-star experience. We went to Chapin for 2 weeks to have the Christmas holiday with our family. The house is lovely and has every accommodation that you could want. The beds are comfortable, too. If we go back next year I will want to stay in this home again.

Great home and location

We stayed here as a layover spot on the way to the Outer Banks. The home was definitely well equipped and comfortable for what we needed. The owner was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. It was a good location to visit the lake or town. I would definitely recommend this home!
