A group of friends exploring Chanthaburi. Wanted a simple hotel in downtown Chanthaburi. Location of Hop Inn was fine, But service was terrible. When we arrived, there were around 5 staff at the reception, but none would help us with our luggages! Even the fact that I use a walking stick. Also only one hair dryer to share in whole hotel. Hotel stay is fine as we are paying $27 per day and you can't expect more . But very major problem is quite many shops are either closed or not functioning at all , the only 24hr 7-11 shop in a 2-3 mins walking distance and is mostly my lunch and dinner there . The noodle soup stall either don't look appealing or the atmosphere there is not right .
