It's quite a big hotel with much more than I had expected, in terms of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a mix of an old building with a new building built to the side. Both have a nautical theme but completely different styles: the old building is classic wood panelling and portholes whereas the newer building is much more cruise ship: lots of neon lighting. Nothing wrong with that per se, but could probably benefit from a refurbishment. Our room was fine. Had everything we needed, but again, just a bit tired and ready for a refurb. The spa is excellent so definitely make time for that. There is a nightclub in the hotel. If you're a light sleeper that might be problematic for you. It wasn't an issue for us.
