The staff are amazing at this hotel, they are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant for evening meals is excellent. Rooms are clean and presentable. Nice pool to enjoy too! Very nice garden centre in walking distance and bus stop also in walking distance.

We were lucky to stay at this wonderful hotel over Easter bank holiday weekend in a group of 6 We booked garden rooms - no 34 35 and 45 I was in room 35 and it was wonderful - big and spacious with fantastic views over looking the gardens . The staff are incredible Breakfast - couldnt fault it Dinner - we ate in the hotel all 3 nights and had great meals - very good choice on the menu Would recommend this hotel 10/10 from us !

Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel in the middle of the island, a great location to see everything Guersey has to offer. The team at Le Friquet were incredibly polite and friendly and made us feel right a home. The food in the Lobster and Grill onsite restaurant was superb.

Great Dinner

small single rom with over flowing toilet - which I fixed. However, location, restaurant and staff are excellent. The dinner service is way beyond it's 3 stars! Try the steak from the Bertha and the fresh monk fish with the lemongrass and coconut sauce,.

Lovely country hotel

My wife and I had wonderful short stay (3 nights) at Le Friquet. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Fabulous restaurant. One very minor comment - our ground-floor room/suite had a conservatory, and during the day when the sun was out, even in late spring, it was almost too hot to sit in. Maybe some blinds could be useful. But that wouldn't stop us booking it again.

Good but could be better

Sensationally comfortable bed and a very warm, efficient welcome, but we weren't told on arrival that there were large Christmas parties (with DJs) taking place on each night. Despite the unexpected 'upgrade' (which removed us a little further from the restaurant area) we could still hear the beat until midnight. The breakfast was nice (the waiting staff was lovely) but my porridge on our second morning came out nearly cold.

Location and actual building and facilities very good. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast of very good standard. Small items requiring attention specific to Room 15. 1. Mattress worn out and requires renewal. 2. Bathroom door Jamming at top requiring a real effort to get it closed. 3. Whilst the shower is excellent, the on / off control is so tight it cannot be operated with wet / soapy hands. It needs attention. Having said all this, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
