We were disappointed in the beach and surrounding facilities. It is an extremely large area so other parts of the beach may be different. There was only one beach bar at night that only served frozen pizza, so unless you did a big drive it was very limited. We didn’t want to drive up the steep roads again. The hotel is very clean but basic. It’s lovely to hear the sea at night with the doors open!

Clean, well-maintained hotel in a gorgeous location. The sea view was outstanding. The rooms were big and well cared for with simple amenities. Family owned and run with a restaurant on site serving incredibly delicious, simple, homemade food. Perfect for a quiet vacation with lots of nature easily accessible. There's a small store connected to the hotel which has a lot of basics. We were there at the beginning of the season, and we were happy not to have very many people around so we could enjoy the beaches and being outdoors without crowds. However, there was no public transportation at that time. Be sure to rent a car in the off-season so that you have access to the local town for more grocery options, bakeries, etc. There are a handful of tavernas around that are lovely, but mostly this is a lovely agricultural area sparsely populated by locals.

Litlle heaven
Our stay at Falassarna beach hotel was great. This was our second year in a row. It is a familly bussiness; and they are very nice people all of them and a wonderfull familly.They even helped us to make a surprise to one of our friend . They have great food also! We will go back for sure.

Good value, clean and close to beach
Decent value hotel. Not quite on the beach (yet close, 3 minutes walk) and, at least our room, could do with some updating but it was clean, had a balcony with a lovely view and was good value for money. A bit generic and anonymous (quite a large building), but staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, we were happy with our choice.

We had a great experience at Falasarna beach hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, we stayed in a studio room with sea view and it was so nice to have a fridge so you could enjoy cold beers on the balcony! Glad we stayed at this end of Falasarna bay as the smaller beach near the hotel was a lot nicer than the big beach up the road. Close to a lovely beach bar and walking distance to a number of tavernas and restaurants. Amazing value.

A calm getaway beyond tourism and stress
We were looking for a calm getaway beyond stress and tourism yet on driving distance (approximately 50-60 min) to the beautiful beaches of Elafonissi and Balos as well as the city of Chania, and found this sweet familyrun hotel with the most polite and respectful staff leaving the guests in privacy yet tending to every need, even the requests outside the hotel like day tours. This hotel is the perfect place for retreat and calmess which was well needed. The clean rooms held comfortable beds and all the basic necessities one could need during such a stay. Not until the last evening we discovered the hotel restaurant after a couple of bad experiences nearby - the hotel's Saganaki Mussles is a must if visiting Falassarna Beach! Absolutely worth a second visit if wanting a taste of the authencity of Greek hospitality, even if it requires some driving effort to get here. -Sarah & Mahmod (July 8-12, 2015)

We felt unwelcomed
Room was clean but we excpeted something better from this hotel. First of all IS NOT a Hotel but studios. There is a huge difference between hotel and studio. We had booked 4 hotel in Grete, some of them closed to this area with the same and less price but with much more incuded and better view.We also felt unwelcomed. We will never come back.

Très bon hotel avec une vue mer
Hotel très bien situé sur une partie de l'ile crétoise à faire absolument. La plage de Falasarna est vraiment très plaisante. Le seul petit point négatif est la présence d'une ligne de courant devant le front de mer (qui gâche un peu les photos du coucher de soleil)

Appartement confortable, situé à quelques minutes à pied de la plage. Petite kitchenette dans l'appartement, ce qui est très appréciable (casseroles, plaques de cuisson et vaisselle disponibles). Cependant la literie est assez mauvaise, les lits sont vraiment très durs, mon dos s'en souvient encore. Aussi, il est important de prendre en compte que la ville la plus proche, Kissamos, se trouve à 20 minutes de voiture. Donc si vous souhaitez faire des courses ou aller au restaurant, il y aura de la route à faire.

Pulizia molto scarsa, location meritevole e. . . .
Location fantastica con vista tramonti super. . Vicinissima al mare, questa struttura offre una colazione NON continentale (come indica), loro servono a tutti un buon succo di arancia fresco, pane con marmellata in confezione monodose come anche il burro. Un dolce al semolino di dubbio sapore e caffè indecente. Loro devo dire che sono molto cordiali e servono anche al ristorante (abbastanza buono). Le stanze sono molto spaziose e luminose, però la pulizia lascia parecchio a desiderare. Mosche ovunque , cosa che credo dipenda dalla zona. Peccato, il posto merita ma l organizzazione è lasciva. Si può fare molto di più, visto i loro prezzi. Non ci tornerei

Super look extérieur et bien situé. Vue mer très sympa. Très bon accueil. Mobilier de la chambre un peu vieillot. Réception Wifi très faible dans la chambre. Pas d'eau chaude ni le soir ni le matin. Vaisselle manquante. Une ampoule de lampe chevet HS. Dommage.

vista diversa da come appariva nelle foto
la mia prenotazione prevedeva uno "studio sea view", dalle foto di vedeva il balcone con vista mare, la nostra sistemazione però dava sul cortile del ristorante (anche un pò fastidioso non avere molta privacy, per vedere il mare si doveva uscire sul balcone e guardare il lato a sinistra, secondo me le foto dovrebbero rispecchiare la realtà, dato che mi sono fermato solo una notte mi sono accontentato ma mi ha deluso. La posizione dell' albergo comunque è vicina alla spiaggia che si può raggiungere in pochi minuti a piedi
