The next day - I could explore the wall and the small town on my own. The accommodation was nice and the family that runs the hotel/homestay was really friendly. I am a vegetarian and enjoyed generous portions of good food while I was there. I also organized a taxi back to Beijing after my two night stay with the owner. His father drove me to the train station in a really nice electric car - so 'taxi' doesn't really describe the high quality of the car and very pleasant drive. I recommend staying here. "

This property is not in a walkable area to any shopping or dining. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was a full array of western and Chinese options.
