(422 reviews) Very pleasant hotel in great location - walking distance from Clarke Quay activity but far enough away to avoid noise and late night activities there if you wish. Small but clean, very comfortable rooms with all the facilities you would expect at 5 star level. Enjoyed our stay, but rate 4 out of 5 for avfew reasons that may matter less to you a) no a la carte breakfast option ( full buffet or nothing), other "unusual responses" at restaurant - when returning late afternoon on a hot humid Saturday attempting to order cold drinks and ice cream, was "we dont do dessert on weekends". Service in general very polite but sometimes not responsive. A small oversight in house keeping, not replenishing toilet paper becomes frustrating when an hour after calling to request more TP, a guest can use bathroom functionality as no TP has arrived. None of these is huge deal but taken collectively for me prevents straight 5 star rating.
