There's a spectacular view of Lake Palestine through out the main home. The oversized covered porch provides the perfect seating to view the lake and relax. Make some smores at the fire pit, or enjoy the new tanning deck by the pier and boat dock. A waterfront cottage and bungelow, that can sleep up to 6 guests in beds on Lake Palestine. Enjoy fishing on the pier or bring your boat and adventure out to all Lake Palestine has to offer. We purchased this property in September 2018\. So we've posted a few of the former owner reviews below. Please scroll down to see them. BYOB - Bring your own boat. There's a boat slip with a lift located on the pier. You can also fish off the private pier. The main house has a loft room (stairs to loft are steep) with queen size bed, 32" flat screen Smart TV and a 1/2 bath (curtain). The main floor is open concept and has a daybed with trundle that will sleep 2 and 32" flat screen smart tv with DVR. Kitchen with corian counter tops, large sink, and stainless steel appliances. There is a detached room with a king size bed and washer/dryer (no bathroom). Spend your nights gathered around the fire pit overlooking the panoramic views of the lake, cook some smores at the fire pit or steaks on the propane grill and your mornings on the porch and taking in the beautiful East Texas sunrise. The main house is 452 square feet and the bungelow is 200 square feet. Super adorable inside. I love this house, and I think you will love it too. This property is very quiet and peaceful. About Chandler, Tx Chandler is only 5 miles away with many restaurants and bars, grocery stores, and hardware stores. Zip lining only 25 minutes from Chandler. If you bring a boat make sure you do not go straight across lake or left, lake has many trees in this direction. Go right and stay close to docks and once you get to the cove you can go all out up to the bridge. Upstairs bedroom is great if you dont mind going up and down the steep staircase. The king suite is a bed only, very private, but if you need to go to the bathroom you have to go into the main cabin. My family loved it, on the 4th of July all the neighbors lit up the sky. Amy was great, If you dont mind lake water the water is just deep enough to be a little cold on your toes. This is a great little lake house, if you like to cookout and sit by a firepit, you will love it. Great views overlooking lake from patio and boat dock. Lake got really rough during rain storms you really have to tie down your personal water craft, we had 45 lb anchor and the waves moved the boat. It was a little to windy to use the fire pit but the breeze is always welcome in late June. This is the nicest place around, we enjoyed the large parking area, Plenty of room for my Tahoe, two trucks with trailers. It was nice to keep our boat in the boat dock. We played games,did puzzles while the guys caught lots of fish. I read reviews before picking this place so I knew the stairs were steep and the King size room/bungalow was separate and did not have a bathroom. The cabin was small but really cozy, loved it! We had a great time and the home was perfect for three adults. We caught a few fish each morning and enjoyed the view of the water from the house. Overall a great weekend! ##### Andrew D. It is a sweet little cottage with a gorgeous view. We loved sitting on the porch rocking chairs and watching all of the lake life. It was so peaceful and just what we needed to get away from the stress of life. The location is very close to Tyler so we were able to go there to see the beautiful Rose Garden, the zoo and visit some nice restaurants. Also, the stairs to the upstairs bedroom were extremely dangerous. Not up to code. We did enjoy the lake very much. Home was decorated nicely and was very clean. ##### Beth W. We ended up having a wonderful stay at the lake .I suggest you read the description very well as there a few things at this particular location that may make it difficult for older folks. Make sure storms haven’t affected the lake if you want to fish.Otherwise very good value for the money. ##### Mae G. It's what we needed for relaxation. If you like water activities, then this is right up your alley!. We fished a lot from the dock. Our boat ended up not working, but we enjoyed the lake anyways. The house did have a few necessities that we ran out of, but we just bought them ourselves. Since we didn't have access to the boat dock due to storms, we wish we would have known sooner. We wouldn't have brought our boat on the trip. Overall we all enjoed the lake and fishing and eating some fresh carfish:) Tyler, TX was only about 15 minutes away which was nice as well. The neighborhood was not desirable but not the property's fault. Boat dock needs work, but we weren't using it so not a problem with our stay. We had a great time and the weather and lake was wonderful! We had a great time fishing and swimming right off the pier! The lake gave up some great fish! We had a fish fry and it was delicious! Roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on the camp fire was so much fun! Our host were so helpful and friendly! Cindy was wonderful to just talk to and provided all the information needed. We would definitely book with her again. They are renovating the house next door which would accommodate all my family also.
