Little lake house/ Fish cabin get away

Our little house is a work in progress but still a great getaway. Private community boat ramp and pier at lake 600 feet down street from cabin. Plenty of parking. Nice community pool with small playground adjacent. Pool closed on Mondays. Pool open Memorial day to Labor day.. Wooded back yard with fire pit. Sleeps 5. One large bedroom with King size SLEEP Number Bed! Small bunk room with bunkbeds. Top bunkbed does Not have quard rail. Bottom bunk okay for little ones.
Futon makes full size bed. Full kitchen including blender for smoothies or your bullet proof coffee. Coffee pot of course.. Also has crock pot, electric pressure cooker (like instapot),
Inside electric grill, air fryer and waffle maker. Outside charcoal BBQ grill.
Decks outside of bedroom and in back. Suddenlink hardwired internet and wifi. Please smoke outside to respect others. Come get away and enjoy Lake Palestine in Chandler Tx.

Pretending it's Nana's house
My grandkids live on the lake as few miles south of this cabin. We spend days with them, but it is fun to bring them here, make cookies, dinner, relax with them, let them play assorted games.. just have a change of scenery. Much better for us than staying in a hotel room in town.

Feral cats everywhere, apparently they’ve been let in the place, reeked like cat piss, my coworker was allergic to cats , spent the first night breaking out in hives, eating Benadryl. Left after one night. The second bedroom is a walk in closet that they were able to fit bunk beds in, cobwebs, dust and downright filthy. The bedsheets were clean, had to bury my face in them to fall asleep so I couldn’t smell the cat piss. My advice, burn the place down.

Great for a few days
Used the property primarily for sleeping. Word of Caution: Some of the carpet edges are curled upward and cause a tripping hazard. Be very careful. The house was very clean and had everything you would need for a long stay, dishes, silverware, etc..

Quiet cabin retreat
We loved our 5 night stay at this cabin by Lake Palestine. Everything you could possibly need for a short stay and probably longer too! Loved all the television viewing options as we spent most of our time indoors. We were shocked not to see one insect inside the cabin as it is right by a wooded area. We were disappointed by the pool as it was full of insects and the dock to fish is definitely in disrepair. However, the cabin itself was awesome and we truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking gadgets and stores were very close for supplies. Overall, would recommend!

Absolutely wonderful
The house was so cozy. We definitely used the deck with the lights. We walked to lake and collected shells, and the fishing was great for my kids. We got a couple of laughs from the signs on the wall. The property owners were so sweet and helpful. Just a great experience.

Great cozy family fishing getaway spot. Loved having our fur babies and family all together. The only drawback was the community boat ramp is not functional as it hasn't been kept up with. But other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our quick family getaway. Easy access to convenience stores and larger towns with shopping available.
