Quirky place, charming friendly staff, nice large clean room, clean pool, ping pong and crazy golf- a bit DIY but charming with it. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G breakfast!!!

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Room was very spacious with own balcony overlooking gardens. We had dinner in the restaurant on one night on the patio which was wonderful. Very attentive staff. Breakfast let it down slightly with choices, we only found out on second day we could ask for eggs. Would highly recommend the hotel

Easy walk from Thiviers train station. William was a perfect host. The pool was lovely to have!

I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return.

Location was perfect and check in and parking we're easy. It's an old building which has been tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Great shower. Would have liked and egg with breakfast.

Excellent location, charming hosts, very attractive hotel/auberge. Elderly parents had accessible room on ground floor with their own terrace. Room very comfortable and excellent bathroom - large wet room with massive shower. My room overlooked pool and large terrace. Loved my Juliette balcony with large shuttered windows. Continental breakfast excellent - cereals, fresh fruit and walnuts, yoghurt, fruit juice, toast, croissants, pain au chocolate, madelaine cakes, jams, honey, chocolate...

Beautiful setting, great location, Carol on reception was such a star, so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is first class and the staff are lovely, making our wedding anniversary extra special, highly recommend.

Christian and Katherine are fantastic hosts and took exceptional care of us. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well looked after. The food and wine were exquisite with stunning views over the river. Really special place. Thank you!

Evening meal and breakfast very good and excellent value Rooms were a good size

The property and views were stunning. Spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was also good. My only gripe would be the room could do with a small fridge, as there is nowhere nearby to get a cold drink.
