Convenient location to Petrified Forest. Friendly staff for check in and check out. Breakfast was good. Although room close to I-40 traffic noise was not an issue. This is an older motel but was in good shape. Only food is adjacent Indian restaurant, and food was good an inexpensive. Closest American food was next I-40 exit 6 miles east

Bed is clean, bathroom is clean. Spots in the carpet- they do let pets stay here. The problem for me was there was no restaurant nearby, it is located right next to the freeway so they provide ear plugs if hiway noise is bothersome. Use outside stairs, no elevator. Breakfast is continental w hot pancakes.

This property was a little scary on first sight (I don’t like motels and generally book in hotels when I can), but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Freeway noise was loud, but I ran the air conditioner fan continuously and that drowned out the noise effectively. (The front desk also offers complimentary ear plugs to those who want them.) The breakfast was nice. My only issue with the room was that the bathroom door stuck against the door trim—a simple fix that hopefully motel maintenance will repair quickly.

My mom and I stayed at the SureStay on a trip to Petrified Forest National Park. This hotel is clean, safe and quiet. We had absolutely no problems and would stay here again!
