Stayed for 2 nights, very comfortable and amazing nature all around us

We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. Hotel Ecotica Hotel Ecotica is a little paradise right in the middle of Manual Antonio, when in the town it’s very accessible to the beach via public transport and there are little shops nearby, the rooms are spacious and guess what you can see or hear wildlife if you are lucky to wake up at 5am!! We booked all 3 pods for a 1 night stay on the way back to the airport after touring Costa Rica and all were excellent, privately located with an outdoor kitchen, toilet, shower, balcony and jacuzzi. Although quite remote, they do offer a takeaway delivery service from a local restaurant, and the town is approx 15 minutes away. Important to note that the transparent pod is down a steep windy narrow path with lots of uneven steps, which is quite difficult to walk up and down and a real challenge...

Simply wonderful. The staff were warm and so hospitable and went out of their way to learn our names. The personal touch made a huge difference. It’s a lovely charming and authentic place and I wish we could have stayed for a further week!

Wow. Where to even begin? This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Everyone here clearly works hard to make their guests feel welcome. We were greeted on arrival with a complementary welcome drink and a friendly chat about where everything was and we were entitled to. A lovely hotel with nice rooms scattered in pleasant grounds, some with good views of the coast. Friendly staff, a restaurant for breakfast with amazing views. A nice pool, again with amazing views. Restaurants across and up the road (also owned by the hotel) where you can get lunch and dinner, with transport provided free of charge by hotel.
