ROXANICH Winery and Design Hotel

"This was our second time coming back to Istria and Roxanich. We keep coming back because this place is next level. A truely beautiful hotel for design lovers and even better wine! The complimentary buffet breakfast (with mimosas!) is exceptionally tasty, with lots of options for vegetarians like myself. This year we stayed at Roxanich during the peak season (beginning of August) and while there were more guests than during our first stay (end of June 2024), the installations (pool, saunas) and the hotel (premises, restaurant) did not feel overcrowded."

"Great place, amazing breakfast. We loved it. One thing I did not know about was the parking. You have to park away from the place and a person will come get you when you call but the parking lot is so full that you have to wait for someone to leave before you are able to get a spot. We waited about 25 min for the parking spot. 3 other cars were also waiting so please all take turns."
Beautiful Villa with a Pool in the heart of Istria

"This house is a little gem. It is extremely well equipped, nothing is missing. I have never seen a house so clean iside but also outside. The garden is fantastic, all fenced, our dogs had a great time! The area is so peaceful, wonderful views as well, plenty of walks around, again the dogs loved it. The house is very practical, beds are confortable, Edda is so generous with beddings and towels; Edda is the best host I have ever had, she is full of wonderful intentions, she is alaways there for you, very reactive.We tottally adored our stay at Villa Edda, I can't recommand it enough.If you look for a top villa with a great pool in a peaceful location, this is the perfect one!"

"Wir sind zu dritt angereist und wurden sehr freundlich von Eigentümer empfangen.Was uns als erstes auf viel war der großzügige Garten, volle schattigen Bäume, einfach toll!Das Haus war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet, auch der Pool war total super! Wir hatten leider ein Notfall aber dank der Unterstützung von Eigentümer konnte alles geregelt werden! Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und hoffen wir können es bald wiederholen. Danke nochmal für die Unterstützung "

"Es war einfach super! Von der Ankunft an wird man hier sehr freundlich begrüßt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der exzellente Service: Sollte man Fragen oder ein Anliegen haben, bekommt man umgehend eine hilfreiche Antwort. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt suchen!"
Houses of Motovun

"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace …"
New charming holiday home, centre of Istria

"We were very surprised that this villa has a three star rating as in our opinion it ought to be higher. The villa is in a beautiful quiet setting. It’s minimalistic (which is great when you are a large party and don’t want to worry about fuss) with the exception of the kitchen which is extremely well equipped. The pool is lovely and well maintained. Air conditioning in the bedrooms would be beneficial but we did stay in a heat wave. It’s worth noting that the ground floor bedroom is the coolest. The communication with the host was really helpful with advice from where to buy truffles to recommending a local taxi company. The area itself is stunning and lovely not being in a tourist area. The bar at the end of the road is definitely worth a visit as is the Konoba (restaurant) in Beram. The best steak ever. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend and would go back again"
