absolutely lovely family run hotel - beautiful terrace and pool area over looking a small cove / beach. The food was delightful and the rooms were perfect. The walls can be a bit thin at times, but the bed is so comfortable you will drift to sleep quickly. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place with good facilities and a lovely friendly and helpful team if visiting Cascais. The standard room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Lovely breakfast too. N

We loved our stay at Artsy Cascais. The staff were special, always helpful and nothing too much trouble. The rooms were so comfortable, showers fabulous; breakfast lovely- especially the Granola and Home
made Yoghurt with Fresh fruit. Eggs done just how we asked.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
My only OFI is the restaurant doesn’t open in the evening. I understand why having spoken to the manager but hope on our next visit in a couple of year

We liked this hotel very much the only downside is parking the car but this is to be expected when you’re in the centre of a town like Cascais. We were in Cascais to see a concert and this hotel was perfectly placed for our needs.
Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated; totally in-keeping with the style of the hotel.
Breakfast was very pleasant and enjoyable - I don’t believe evening meals are available but there’s a great chicken restaurant just down the road.

My favourite place I stayed in during my 2-week trip to Portugal. Felt like a true home-from-home with a fabulous house, lovely warm and welcoming staff, within walking distance from the train station and walking distance to 3 beautiful beaches (and more if you have some transport). I was in the smallest room in the back but it was lovely, with a large bathroom. No view, but I didn't expect or mind that. I just got out into the sun and explored Cascais through the day! Very relaxing stay, bedroom was delightful & the lounge area was a great space. The garden / pool area was beautiful to just chill out in the sun. Set in a quiet residential area, but only a 15 minute stroll into Cascais town centre. If you want an alternative to a big hotel, but still want a quality break, this is the place for you in Cascais.

Lovely hotel with great little touches like a personal letter to welcome us, daily cookies and kombucha and super friendly and helpful staff.
In particular Reuben, Eric, Barbara, Apu and Francisco were really helpful and lovely, especially when my husband was ill. We’ll definitely be back.
The pool is much bigger than the photos suggest and uses the modern salt rather than chlorine so doesn’t leave you stinking of chlorine. The food is excellent too.

A great boutique hotel overlooking the little beach at the centre of Cascais - if you have a room at the front of the hotel as we did you can hear the waves at night.
The staff were really friendly and always willing to help, both in the restaurant and at the front desk.
I would happily make a return visit.

A wonderful location on the seafront and in the old part of town. Everything felt within easy walking distance. We loved the balcony overlooking the sea. A good buffet breakfast and a good size room.

Very convenient location close to centre of Cascais, where there are many restaurants and bars. Hotel staff were very helpful, and as the hotel is a former fort it has a unique feel. Fantastic views over the marina from the breakfast room!
