Sunscape Cancun All-Inclusive Resort & Spa by Hyatt
8/10 Good
"Overall this is a 100% family hotel. Don’t expect there to be a party to keep you up till 4am, and if that’s what your looking for you won’t find it. Very calm, they limit your alcohol intake, and the pool activities are very mild. They also really limit you on the ocean and won’t let you get in far even if you are a strong swimmer. It was a bit annoying seeing other people in the other hotels in your line of sight swimming and yet our life guard would beep their whistle at you even if you kneeled down just to “feel” like your in deep water. Basically if it looked like your swimming instead of standing they call you back even if your an adult. Considering that they don’t have much activities, this was really disappointing since the ocean is all their is exciting to do. The food was sub par. Many options but not considerably good unless it’s the Mexican restaurant. Which I consider the minimum since we were in Mexico. Also don’t even dare get sick. If your sick in bed, even if you paid all inclusive, you can only order from their very small limited room service menu. We asked if we could take a plate to someone sick in bed cause he had a horrible flu and couldn’t stomach a burger or hotdog (which was basically all there is on the room service menu) and they said we can’t take a plate and they can’t send it either. Overall the hotel is clean and quiet. If your whole plan is to sleep on the pool and beach, then this hotel is for you."

Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancún - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancún! The resort is beautiful, and the staff made our experience truly special. Special thanks to Ricardo, our concierge, for always being attentive and helpful; Mike, who took great care of our luggage; and Ceasar, who recommended amazing activities and helped us discover Chichén Itzá and Tulum. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. We leave with great memories and would definitely recommend this resort. Thank you for an amazing vacation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
The Westin Cancun Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"We booked this resort for our family trip to Cancun and overall had a wonderful stay. The resort was very clean, and we were lucky enough to get an ocean-view room. However the shower tab was broken and the water can't be turned off completedly. There are three restaurants within the resort, which made dining very convenient. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with a great variety of food options. The pool also has a stunning view, and relaxing there with the sea breeze was definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. Unfortunately, the one major disappointment was the lack of transparency and honesty during check-in. We were told by the staff that we had been given a $200 USD resort credit to use toward our stay and additional spending. We were also told there would be a separate $200 USD security deposit, which would only be charged if there were any damages. However, when we checked out, we noticed that our final bill was higher than what we had actually spent. We contacted the hotel manager to clarify the charges, and she explained that, in Mexico, the credit was equivalent to the credit card deposit and that we had misunderstood the explanation at check-in. Regardless of the terminology or policy, the explanation we received when checking in was very clear to us: $200 in stay credit plus a separate $200 security deposit. If the hotel intended these to be the same amount, this should have been explained clearly from the beginning."
