"The hotel is nice and the staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. We must have gotten the renovated rooms as they were lovely, clean, and comfortable. My companion complained about the hardness of his bed, but mine was perfect for me. Renovations are underway, but the workers schedules worked with ours, so it presented no issues. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location close to but not in the bustle of Cefalu beach. "

"The room was extremely hot when we arrived, and we turned the air conditioning on to cool it down. We then left for town and upon our return, we were shocked and dismayed to discover that someone had come into our room and turned off the air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot and the air conditioning unit could not cool down the room fast enough for us to get a good night of rest. We checked out the next morning, frustrated and exhausted. In addition, there were no facial tissues, the furniture was uncomfortable, the floor was uneven and dangerous when getting out of bed, there were no toiletries in the shower, slow internet, and no full-sized refrigerator/freezer as is misrepresented in the property details. Also, the room was a loft with low, sloped ceilings where it was easy to bump your head. The property description should also disclose that the road to the property changes into very bumpy gravel road prior to getting to the property which adds to the confusion on how to get there."
