"Wonderful escape. Easy check in and just a relaxing weekend with family. All the kids had fun. We enjoyed exploring the trail down to the lake, my son used a kayak, and we used the grill and fire pit. Would definitely rent here again. Thank you! "

"This was truly an awful experience because the listing was nothing like what we actually encountered. The house was not clean, and we even found rat droppings underneath one of the beds. Within the first five minutes of arriving, we flushed the toilet and water immediately started leaking out from underneath the toilet bowl. There was also a very strong unpleasant smell throughout the house.The kitchen was well stocked, which was one of the few positives, but overall the condition of the home was very disappointing. One of the showerheads barely had enough water pressure, so with a party of five people, we were essentially forced to share one usable shower.The house is also very old, and the ceilings are extremely low in certain areas — my husband actually hit his head on the ceiling. In addition, you have to constantly go up and down steps in the middle of the house anytime you want to get to the kitchen or restroom, which was very inconvenient. Overall, the property did not match the expectations set by the listing, and we would not stay here again."

"They do charge a pet fee per night and you have to walk your dog to an area off the side of the property. The pool was very nice though. The rooms were clean and spacious. The evening and night shift staff were amazing. The breakfast is basic but good. It ended at 9 so if you like to sleep in you miss it though. Overall it was a nice place and I would stay again. "
