Our room was located in the basement of a very quaint historic building, but it was not clear to us initially that we had to drive to another hotel to pick up the keys. But....we were able to park just outside our room, which was a plus. A/C was great. Breakfast was minimal with no hot food."

"Our stay was just what we needed for a few days away. The view is fantastic, and the provided binoculars made it all the better. The home is clean and comfy. Although being in a more rural area, the outdoor spaces were a bit buggy and cobwebby. But that was okay for us, as we picked a time when it was 90 degrees every day, so we stayed indoors. There's lots to explore in the area, and we visited many of the small towns nearby and even drove down to Hannibal, Missouri, to see Mark Twain's home. And we went to Eldon, Iowa to see the place where Grant Wood painted American Gothic.If you want a quiet escape, this is the place for you."
