The place was clean but the photos are showing 2 places. The beds were confortable. The bedroom were not insonorated like it was written so we could ear lots of neighborhood dogs barking at night. Overall the place had everything we needed to visit that local part of Belize.

I stayed here alone in one of their villas. The first two days were amazing. The staff was great, and I had such a good time. Unfortunately, that completely changed after a very frightening experience.
On my second day, one of the male workers asked for my phone number and told me I was beautiful. As a woman traveling alone, I already felt that this was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable.
That same night, at around 4 am I woke up to someone trying to open the door to my bedroom. Thankfully, I had locked it. I got up and asked who was there, and a man responded that his name was “Jerome” and said that we had met earlier. I immediately started screaming, and he left.
I cannot describe how terrifying it was to wake up in the middle of the night, alone in a villa, to a man trying to enter my bedroom. The experience completely changed how I felt about staying there, and I ended up cutting my trip short.
What started as an amazing vacation turned into an experience that has left me deeply shaken. I am sharing this because other women, especially women considering staying here alone deserve to be aware of what happened to me.
