This motel started out as a hospital with rooms added for patient families. The Timbers are at least two feet square and sits on the bank of Cave Creek. It’s a very short walk to the Cave Spring and the purest spring water in the state and COLD. Everything was really outdated and needs a remodel. Room smelled like chemicals, like nail polish remover or something. Carpet was scraps pieced together, though the carpet did look clean. We didn't stay and they did give us our refund and were very nice people. I hope they will be able to upgrade things. Stains on the carpet, chairs , bedspread. The towels literally left lint all over us. Fridge and microwave were unplugged upon arrival, but did work once plugged in.Less than half a roll of toilet tissue in bathroom. NO SMOKE DETECTOR! The TV never worked, searched for signal all night. Luckily the sheets were clean. We were attending a local bike rally which offered primative camping, and this was at least a step up from that. Cave Springs is a lovely town and I had the best steak ever at Linda Marie's! If you just need a place to sleep, this is just that.
