"Un Havre de paix au milieu d'une belle nature accueillante. Un endroit idéal avec des jeunes enfants qui trouvent à l'extérieur de multiples activités réparties sur le grand terrain, jusqu'à une cabane impressionnante en sous bois. Et ... beaucoup de livres, jeux et jouets à l'intérieur.Très bien placé pour rayonner dans les environs et profiter des hauts lieux touristiques.L'hôte est très disponible et arrangeante, et la grande piscine ensoleillée toute la journee est un plus indeniable.Une belle adresse pour les tribus familiales."

"Un très chouette séjour dans la grange joliment aménagée - les murs épais permettent de maintenir une relative fraîcheur pendant une canicule, c'est appréciable - les hôtes sont charmants et réactifs. La piscine , indispensable en Dordogne, est sécurisée et sa taille permet de faire quelques longueurs et des plongeons ! des jeux viennent la compléter. nous recommandons cet hébergement, un peu excentré des points d'intérêt classiques de la Dordogne, ce qui ne nous a pas empêchés de profiter au max de la région - encore un grand merci, Lucienne et Michel !!"

"This was a great find. The hotel is in a quiet area, not far from the railway station and a short walk from the town centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly and obviously used to dealing with foreign guests. There is a choice of basic or full buffet breakfast for a fee (about €7 for the basic one, about twice that for the full breakfast). This is available from 07:00, which is helpful if you have an early flight. The hotel has a nice pool, with a shady garden and sunloungers as well as outdoor seating, and you can get drinks from the bar to sip while relaxing. The room was airconditioned, which worked very well, and which we very much appreciated in the 37C heat! We felt it was a good price, especially compared with hotels in La Rochelle at the same period. Bergerac itself is fairly small, but has a good range of restaurants and other amenities. It is easy to walk around and there is a regular free shuttle bus that goes between the station, the centre and the waterfront, if you don't want to walk. There is a large tourist information centre close to the waterfront, with a wine centre offering free tastings. You can also get a boat trip on the Dordogne in a replica gabarre (flat-bottomed boat). We watched the solar eclipse from the old bridge, which was spectacular, but obviously a one-off event. Overall, highly recommended. We look forward to going back!"

"The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool was a welcome facility in the 38° heat and was well maintained and clean. A continental breakfast was available for an additional fee (10€ adults 5€ kids). The hotel was a short walk from the old town of Bergerac so well situated for shopping, eating out and sightseeing. There was secure parking available for a fee but there was also plenty of free parking in a public car park next door. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
