"Great location by the river and across from the main town centre and cathedral. Very smart exterior but rather basic inside. Rooms clean. No bar. Shower over bath with no shower curtain so bathroom floor very wet. Garage around the back of hotel accessible from another street. If you just want somewhere to sleep its ok"

"Absolutely lovely garden , good parking and breakfast on the edge of town, no evening meal but plenty of options within 10 minutes by car. Staff all great and helpful."

"Staff were friendly and that's about the only good thing I can say, the carpets in the common areas are filthy, there was no hot water for a shower and we were woken up at 1am by loads of drunk guests shouting. I got about 3 hours sleep. Wouldn't recommend."

"Lacronan is of course a treasure, and, perhaps not unsurpisingly, is determined to keep cars out, even though there is a small hotel car park available for a few fortunate guests. Our route to the hotel, which is perhaps 200 metres from the central square, was barred by ongoing work to pedestrianise the area immediately adjacent to the hotel.
