La villetta può ospitare comodamente fino a 4 persone e gode di una posizione privilegiata, nei pressi di Punta Ristola, il punto più meridionale del Salento, dove il Mar Ionio e il Mar Adriatico si incontrano. Il centro di Santa Maria di Leuca è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (circa 700 metri) e offre spiagge libere e attrezzate, un lungomare vivace, ristoranti tipici, bar, gelaterie e negozi. La posizione è perfetta anche per esplorare le due coste del basso Salento e scoprire località iconiche e paesaggi mozzafiato. LA POSIZIONE Punta Ristola, insieme a Punta Meliso, segna il confine estremo di Santa Maria di Leuca, conosciuto fin dall’epoca romana come De Finibus Terrae (“ai confini della terra”). Tra i luoghi più suggestivi segnaliamo: \- Grotta Porcinara, anticamente luogo di culto del popolo dei Messapi. Al suo interno sono ancora visibili iscrizioni votive in diverse lingue antiche, testimonianze di ringraziamenti e richieste di protezione agli dei. Secondo la tradizione, proprio qui approdò l’Apostolo Pietro, dando simbolicamente inizio all’evangelizzazione dell’Occidente; \- Le Tre Porte, probabilmente il sito più fotografato di Leuca: tre grandi archi naturali scolpiti nella roccia dove le onde si infrangono creando un effetto scenografico spettacolare, visibili chiaramente da Punta Ristola; \- Grotta del Diavolo, affascinante per la sua profondità e per i reperti archeologici ritrovati al suo interno, che testimoniano la presenza umana fin dall’antichità.
