Hotel room was clean , comfortable. Staff very friendly checking in ! About 5-7 min drive to down town. Parking was easy . Continental breakfast in morning was pretty weak though . Would probably stay in Trail next time.

Okay for one night, but the doors are difficult to open. Had to switch rooms because someone behind the building was smoking weed and the smell was coming in through the air vents into our room. Dog friendly!!! Big plus.

We stayed last wknd, the rooms have been renovated which was nice, beds and pillows were amazing. My only complaint would be the ants in our room and around the outside of the door, long black hair in the bathroom floor and bathtub. (I'm blonde, so very noticeable) I would however not classify this property as a hotel but a motel would be a more appropriate description.

The rooms were really clean. The beds were comfortable. We checked in after hours and the instructions on how to do so were very clear. Our tv was the only thing that didn't work. Other than that, we would stay there again

If visiting Rossland, B.C., I can highly recommend Best Western’s Sure Stay Motel. . Formerly The Scotsman’s and under cared for has been upgraded to Best Western’s standards As the photos will attest the motel is clean, a welcoming manager, an adequate continental breakfast, safe and quiet. All aspects of our room has been upgraded and upon personal inspection. I found no mold or dust whatsoever ever. Highly recommended.
