"We had a lovely time in this property, which is one of the best we've stayed in. The owners are very conscious of cleanliness, and the property is very well kept, with everything you could need. Even with unreliable weather, the balcony is a lovely place to sit looking out at the river and woodland, with a canopy to protect from the rain if necessary! "My wife and I loved this place called the "west wing" (it was literally the wing of the main house occupied by our hosts.) It was charming, spacious, clean, and equipped with all one could want for a self-catering accommodation. The grounds were amazing, full of flowers, vegetable patches green house, and the list goes on. Our hosts were so nice as they helped us figure out how to run the washer/dryer (that they had never used themselves). Top notch in every way. "

"We chose Magherafelt as it is central and every part of the province is accessible for a day out by car. Off road parking is a bonus. Access to the house was easy using the key safe. The pictures and description on the website were accurate and the house was spotlessly clean. The wifi was very good. It is an easy walk to the town centre where we had a choice of several restaurants. There are supermarkets close by for stocking up provisions. My only quibble was the kitchen and living room...

"House was great. Well appointed, nice bedrooms, etc. But the photos & description said nothing about the fact their building a huge wedding venue on top of the old stables. Rather disappointed, especially as we likely wouldn't have paid such a high price with this knowledge."
