"Really pleasant 3 night stay as part of a longer visit to the Uists. Single room with a view over the sea, albeit over the porch so also with a roof view! "Beautiful location. Polished wood staircase dangerous and does not meet HSE. Terrible Mould in bathroom - does not meet HSE. Cobwebs in upper bedroom with skirting boards not cleaned. Kitchen surfaces only cleaned where 'bare'- underneath appliances, filthy. Bedding underproduction filthy and stained. Bedding sheets old and threadbare with bobbling. Electrical connection appear not to have been PAT Tested - multiple appliances plugged to extension leads. Outside area steps very dangerous - do not meet HSE at all. Parking for larger 4WD vehicle meaning car door restricted opening onto grass bank. Serious attention needed to meet Safety Standards. As the friend of David, I had a serious fall from the staircase which resulted in being airlifted to Stornoway Hospital and immediate Surgery.
