Castle- Carthusian Monastery of Vallparadis

The parking was free including un the underground garage if you check in online. Reception check in was brilliantly fast and efficient and luckily the room was available early. We love the garden and huge open spaces . Traditional and modern architecture. Access to Mon Brio via the Spa ( very good price in the week) is a feature we value greatly. The shower was hot, the bed comfortable, the balcony and seating with view of the pool was all much appreciated as was the friendly staff at all levels of the team . Enhorabuena! Google Maps did not come up with the right place. It sent us to Camping Fun, which is approximately 500 metres farther down the street. My husband remembered seeing a sign that said Paradise Resort, and we back to it. If is off-season, and restaurant was closed for remodeling. However, the hotel is 1.9 km away from the city center where there are plenty of cafes, tapas, restaurants and bars. There are also some eating places close to the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and spoke English. Hotel is beautiful with marble floors and is very spacious. Our room was large with a king size bed and a large balcony. It faced the pool and the back of the resort. Nice tub and shower, bathroom with toilet and bidet. Lovely place! Will stay again if we are in the area!
