Fantastic, calm, and peaceful!

Our hosts, Fabrizio and Anna, were terrific! After she showed us around, she brought us a cheese, meat, fruit, beer, and water snack! Very hospitable even with our language deficiency! He frequently came by with brochures on happenings, and hooked us up with a local winemaker for a tour and tasting!

Best place we stayed during a 6 week family trip

We arrived late in the evening to La Casa del Sole but that was no problem at all. Half the family of the owner came and helped us out. The units we had were large and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. It was just perefect to relax around the poolside. Our kids (and us) rated it the best pool on our 6 week European adventure. The site was well loved and maintained by the owners. It was s just a short drive to Castiglione Del Lago, a lovely ancient town on the lake with many shops and restuarants
