Castiglioncello del Trinoro Holidays from £470

This hotel was not what I expected in that the photos on Expedia and on the hotel website were much nicer than in person. Also, there was air conditioning but the way it was set up did not make me feel the safest because the window had to remain open. (The AC was an individual standing unit that was plugged into an outlet. I could not close the window because it was so hot in Florence.) Additionally, the lights went out multiple times in the room on the first day because there were three items plugged into two separate outlets. The light switches, the area that you can turn on and off to reset the lights was in the room, so that was pressed a few times before the lights came back on. Lastly, there was construction going on (I believe in the building or very close by) that started so early in the morning (around 8am). The one other thing I will note is that the staff were very kind, but I do believe there were too many issues during the stay. Unfortunately, I will not stay here again.

The hotel was very well-maintained with helpful staff. The breakfast was fantastic. The only problem was, it was a far walk to the city centre. Despite the walk , I highly recommend this hotel
