The place was perfect for our romantic long-weekend getaway. The location was right on the lake and provided us with sunrises, sunsets, and star views for which photos do not do justice. We were within a short drive of everything we wanted to see and experience. The hosts responded (and fixed) within a couple of hours when a completely unexpected shower nozzle broke. Our only "opportunity for improvement" was the bed - which was quite a bit softer than our preference and seemed smaller than the advertised "Queen" size. Everything was really nice and we were facing Lake Huron with access to a beautiful yard with many seating options to just sit back and relax. Also a huge deck overlooking the water and the beach just below the deck...very nice, just the relaxing vacation we needed. Only complaint was the inaccurate listing on VRBO...there is no "King" bed. This was a huge disappointment as my husband and I are very tall and require those types of accommodations to get restful sleep. I hope they changed the listing to be accurate.
