"Was a place to sleep, would’ve been better if the pool was heated as we went in off season but still had activities and was a great place to move along the Amalfi coast from!"
"Oh what a find! This hotel exceeded expectations and it is even more lovely than the pictures! The lighting and setting is upscale and everything is done top notch. I highly recommend this hotel—it is within walking distance to the ruins, even for seniors 7 min. I could have stayed much longer..better than many 4 and 5 stars! Staff nice."
"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. Not thrilled to see house cat walking on kitchen countertops and workspaces in the evening. Although they do not serve dinner, you can not bring a pizza there to eat at dinner time. 'The other...
"It’s a good stay for us, uses this property for many years as it is convenient to connect with our Salerno family. Also love the free parking and breakfast!"

"We had an exceptional stay at B & B Samilu. The home, with its' surrounding grounds, were just beautiful. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was modern, very clean and spacious. It had everything you needed if you wanted to prepare meals yourself. The only thing better was the incredible host, Mimmo. You could not ask for a more helpful, friendly and generous host. He made you feel like you were part of his family. The B & B is in a quiet country setting with plenty of parking within the gates to the property. There is easy access in and out of the apartment and a nice patio with table and chairs to seat at outside and enjoy the well manicured grounds. We were provided with abundant fruit, pastries, breakfast items, coffee, juice, snacks, etc. We have never experienced a B & B apartment that was better stocked in over 25 years of travels to Europe. B & B Samilu is in a great location to visit the famous Greek ruins in Paestum, tour the many great buffalo mozzarella farms in the area or go to the nearby beaches. Also you are very close to Salerno to catch a short ferry ride to the towns on the Amalfi coast. Best to avoid driving the Amalfi coast because there is no parking on the narrow coastal roads and lots of slow moving traffic too. The area has many great and inexpensive restaurants within a 4-10 minute drive from B & B Samilu. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone visiting the area. "
"If you want an Italian experience then this is the place. The beautiful period property was perfect for us, comfortable, well air conditioned, extremely spacious and very clean.
The lovely family who own the property made us feel most welcome and helped us with information about the area and facilities. Especially listen out for the very talented piano playing.
We spent many relaxing hours around the pool and in the large garden, which was the best part of our week stay. We never got to visit the beach, which isn't far away, and never missed it due to our love of the pool.
Car parking is ample and safe, the property has automatic security gates.
Shopping was easy with a very handy supermarket in Battipaglia and, just off the round-a-bout there is a restaurant that is friendly with good food and is not expensive at all, the perfect combination for a Yorkshire family.
The property is within easy reach of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and a must see are the stunning temples at Paestum (especially at sunset).
This has been a fantastic family holiday and we have all taken away great memories."
