"We had a room with the hot tub on our balcony. The hot tub was nice and in good working order. The view was of the parking lot so it wasn’t great. A lot of people coming and going and you could hear them talking and smell cigarette smoke at times. "

"Location can't be beat, super walkable. Floors squeak, train is very nearby, freeway is very nearby, but the location (!). I had to turn off the floor aircon to sleep. Street parking is free overnight 6pm-8am and plentiful. Breakfast/resto does not open until 8am (!) but there are two excellent coffee shops nearby that open at 6am (Ground) and 6:30 (Freshies) and serve breakfast. Great water pressure, comfy bed. Would return."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!"
