"My GS and I stayed for 4 nights in this place. We found it to be clean and beds comfortable. There was everything we needed in the kitchen although we didn't cook anything, but in the microwave. Kierig worked well and there were plenty of pods, although no drip coffee-maker. We spent time on the dock, caught a few fish, and my 12 yr old grandson especially enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. It was fun. Rod and his wife live upstairs, but I only saw him twice. It was a very nice place to get away and enjoy the lake. It was only 2 miles to town for restaurants and grocery stores. All in all, very nice."

"This home was exactly as pictured and promised. It was great for 3 couples and 1 dog (she even got a doggie welcome gift!). Everything was clean and in great shape. Lots of towels, very well stocked kitchen and plenty of room to hang out, both inside and outside. Our only (tiny) disappointment was the fact that there was a Blackstone grill and we couldn't do grilled chicken and burgers like on a gas grill. The location is good with several walkable road options and very close to a grocery store (in Laurie), a couple of restaurants (we loved Tap & Grill Lakeside, only 5 minutes away), gas stations, etc. The lake is very busy but not quite as busy as if we had been on the main channel. Wouldn't hesitate to return."
