This little cottage has weathered a storm, come back better than ever, and is ready to be someone's favourite place on the Carolina coast again.
The front porch sets the tone immediately: four rocking chairs, string lights overhead, peek-a-boo ocean views, and the kind of unhurried morning that reminds you why you took the week off in the first place. The beach is a three-minute stroll. The boardwalk is around the corner. And inside, the electric fireplace, Smart Roku TVs, and well-equipped kitchen make the cottage as comfortable on a rainy evening as it is on a perfect beach day.
Small? Yes. Mighty? Absolutely. The Little Blue Cottage punches well above its weight — and guests who've stayed here will tell you it's the kind of place you come back to every year.

• Up to 2 vehicles on property — please park directly in front of the cottage without blocking the driveway

The legendary Sea-Witch live music 🎶 venue is just around the corner — and on weekend nights, you'll know it. Music carries until midnight, and from the front porch it's actually a pretty good free show. If you're a light sleeper or an early-to-bed traveller, grab some earplugs and lean into the coastal soundtrack. If you're the kind of guest who considers live music a bonus — you're going to love this porch.

🔏 Security Deposit: A $300 refundable security deposit is required for each reservation.

🚭 Smoke-Free Property This is a completely smoke-free home — indoors and out. If evidence of smoking is found, a $250 deodorization fee will apply.

🕓 Check-In & Check-Out Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Parking on the premises is available during your reservation window only. Unapproved late departures may result in a $250 fee, as our team works on a tight turnaround to prepare the home for arriving guests.

🤫 Quiet Hours Please observe quiet hours from 10p to 8a — the neighbors will love you for it.

🧹 Cleaning & Products Our professional cleaning team handles all deep cleaning between stays. During your visit, please avoid using bleach-based products to prevent accidental damage to linens and surfaces.

🕯️ Scents & Candles Out of respect for guests with sensitivities, please refrain from burning incense, diffusing essential oils, or using similar scented items inside the home.

🎉 Gatherings & Events This home is designed for rest, relaxation, and quality time — not parties or events. Please keep overnight guests to those listed on the reservation.

📜 Guests are required to provide a government-issued photo ID and complete a signed rental agreement prior to check-in, as required under North Carolina law (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 42A-10). This is completed through our complimentary guest portal, which also offers optional keyless entry and check-in convenience features.

• Pets must be added to the reservation during booking
• A non-refundable $150 pet fee applies per stay
• Maximum of 2 dogs; no other animals permitted
• Dogs must be fully housebroken
• Please clean up after your pet
• Dogs are not allowed on furniture or linens
• No cats permitted due to a family allergy
