Sleek and Modern Oceanfront home: walk to restaurants and boardwalk!

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is light, modern and airy. Located on the first story of a three story building. Vacationing here is a dream: beachfront views and access to the shore by our structure’s private boardwalk. Foot hose, outdoor shower, benches and hooks for all your chairs and boogey boards. The view doesn’t get better since we have the ocean out the front and the lake with farmers market, paddle boats and path out the back. We even have a child’s play house swing and slide on the sand below the deck!! You have full use of the first floor home, self contained with private entrance. There is another unit that occupies the upper two floors, and they will share the parking below the house and the boardwalk out to the ocean. You have full access to the first floor home and porch. There is a lovely child’s play area on the sand below the boardwalk with slide, swing and clubhouse. That is available to everyone in the house. There are full and private laundry facilities inside the home.

With the ocean out your front door and the lake, restaurants, coffee shops and boardwalk out your back door (not to mention farmers market, live music and even outdoor movie nights), it's impossible to find a better location than this first floor oceanfront home on a quiet one way street.

You'll have a boardwalk from your sliding glass doors straight to the waves, and when you've had enough sun and sand you can stroll Carolina Beach boardwalk, sip an iced coffee or eat ice cream in the shade. The summer carnival with Ferris Wheel and other rides is a short walk down the sand to the left, and to the right is a beach bar where you can sip drinks on an elevated pier.


You'll see the Carolina beach fireworks from your front porch every Thursday in summer, and in the winter a glance up the beach from your rocker will show you the Christmas lights on the boardwalk where every Friday Santa offers hot chocolate to visitors.


HOUSE DESCRIPTION

The 3br/2ba home is brand new and decorated in a modern style. We've put a brand new king size bed in the master, and a new queen bed in the second bedroom. Comfy! No pets, no smoking and no carpet means it's good for people with allergies, and the open plan modern kitchen is a pleasure to cook in while still gazing out the windows to the ocean (please note that we've added more utensils and cookware at the request of previous guests).

The master bedroom has windows to the ocean, a delicious king size bed and a large walk in tiled shower with bench. The two guest bedrooms, one with a new queen bed and a second with large bunk bed and double sized trundle (room sleeps 5) share a modern bathroom with window. Both rooms have views to the lake. The house is located on a quiet one way street. You can rent bikes and pedal anywhere on the island.

Smart tvs, blueray DVD player, internet, full sized washer and dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, keruig coffee maker -- all the amenities! We just upgraded the television in the living room to a larger smart tv.

Close by there are paddle board rentals, surf lessons, bikes and kayak tours. There are also fishing guides and boat tours available from the harbor a half mile away. Drive down to the aquarium or take the ferry to Southport of the afternoon and have a seafood lunch on the water after walking through historic streets.

Sheets and towels are provided. Please bring beach towels, beach toys and chairs.

Please note, as stated above, the house is the first floor only. It is spacious and private, but note that the top two floors (with a separate front door) are occupied by long term renters.

Saturday is our preferred check in and out day over the high season, and normally we cannot stray from that.
