Located a short walk from the beach, this modern shipping container home offers everything a couple or small family could want for a fun surf trip or beach vacation.  
The home has been profiled in the New York Times, Coastal Living and Apartment Therapy. It features modern and well-equipped interior spaces situated in a peaceful and private setting.  
The space  
The Conchs are two shipping container houses that were thoughtfully constructed in an effort to create unique but low profile vacation rentals for visitors to Carolina Beach, NC. The containers are located on adjoining lots so that they can be rented independently or together for a larger group. The siting of the units on the lots ensures plenty privacy and lots of space to spread out. If the container is not available for your dates see the listing for Modern Beach Container Home #1.  
The architecturally engineered space measures 320 square feet and is comfortable inside and out. The interiors offer all the amenities you need plus some interesting details such as Casper mattresses, spacious bathrooms, Paperstone countertops, and original mahogany hardwood floors.  
Large teak outdoor showers are the best! (there is a spacious indoor shower) Canopies of hardwood trees provide shade so you can enjoy the ample decks and yard.  
There is a public beach access at the end of the street which offers an easy beach entrance and parking spaces.  
  
Comforters and pillows are provided but we do not provide sheets or towels and this is reflected in the rate. Most people bring their own or Seaside Linens can rent linens and we are happy to assist in any way.
