Sir,You reserved our cheapest room that has not been renovated yet like most all of our other rooms. The furniture, linens and appliances are brand new in the standard queen room. We apologize if you found your floors to be unclean, we pride ourselves on housekeeping here at Dry Dock Inn and would have fixed this issue immediately. The pictures clearly show in the standard queen room there is not a clothes hanging space as there is simply no room for it, in order to fit all the other amenities we provide free of charge. There is a brand new dresser to put away your clothes though. Next time I would suggest upgrading to a larger room, it might be worth the cost.

Location, location, location!! Dry Dock Inn is in the heart of Carolina Beach. Easy walk to restaurants and bars. Room was super clean, comfy bed and great towels. Will stay here again

The check-in process was seamless…missing the human touch but very convenient. The property was recently renovated, it looks nice and it was very clean. The property has 3 little outside niche’s, 1 for grilling, 1 for gathering around and the other had ping pong and cornhole. There are 2 pools on the property as well. Overall a great stay and the price was reasonable. The walk ability was great as well!

The check-in process (digital) and room entry were very easy. I sent a text prior to arrival and got a quick response. There was a property manager on site at arrival who answered my question about parking. My two granddaughters and I stayed in the premium double queen room. It was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, toiletries, etc. All in all, we were very impressed with with the property and staff. This was our to stay at this property and we have declared the Dry Dock Inn our hotel of choice in Carolina Beach.

Second time staying. Off season. It is a non-smoking property. It is not posted very well. So heads up. They do not take AAA or AARP. Rate was very reasonable. Definitely would stay again.

Very cute motel. You can tell its been recently remodeled and was done really nicely. Even though it was the off season so they didnt have anyone at the front office, the staff we did encounter was extremely nice and seemed very proud of their work in remodelng (as they should be). I was nervous about there not being an office person for clock in and out but it was seamless and easy through their text system.

Just a block from the beach + what a steal
Wow! To be this close to the beach + be this cheap. I figured there was a catch. Actually, this newly renovated place is under new ownership + management. Cute beachy, retro feel. You can tell it has come a long way and they are continuing to improve. Customer service was fantastic, especially considering the personnel was younger. Very professional and friendly. The room has everything you really need and what you don't have, you are just walking distance from restaurants, little shops and of course the beach. The only suggestions would be upgrading the tiny window a/c units, as the air comes out cold but it doesn't seem to circulate and since no vent in the bathroom, humidity gets stuck in the room the entire time, a simple chair in the room otherwise nowhere to sit except the bed + a new shower head (this one was pretty old and grimy but still works!). Again, for the price and locale, it is a steal and there's an outdoor pool a gaming area + ample parking. We would definitely return.

I enjoyed my stay here. The area has some wear & tear but other than that, the rooms are very neat. I enjoyed how the beach, Boardwalk. and restaurants distance were all walking distance. I hope to come back☺️

The updates were obvious and unexpected. The negatives were no closet, only 1 chair to sit in and the constant walking of people in the room above was bothersome as you could hear every step over and over.

I didn't like the amount of rude neighbors staying up all night outside and smoking, which made our room smell but that is no fault of dry dock.

We had an amazing stay at Dry Dock. Staff were very friendly and checked in with us everyday. This hotel was quiet and very cozy. Everything was located around you, and walking distance to the beach! Cant wait to book again.

Feels like ‘home’, rooms are fully renovated, we liked the style, easy access to the beach, wonderful welcome by the owners, we highly recommend this place, great deal for a weekend at the beach without spending too much on accommodation.

Very convenient!
Staff was very helpful and informative. The room was small but clean and the bed very comfortable! The area is nice and quiet! Two min walk to the beach and five minutes from the boardwalk! We had a great stay here!

Property is not fancy- but well worth the cost. It is so convenient to restaurants, the beach, and the attractions on the Boardwalk. Staff was friendly, and room was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

randomly booked this last minute & very happy we did . Room was super nice and clean. They did renovations to an older motel I’m assuming but the place is great. Nice outdoor area to sit by the fire . Also games you can play. So close to the boardwalk, beach, and restaurants . Will def recommend this place to family and friends !

Close enough to the beach and boardwalk to be convenient but far away enough that it was quiet. It's an older hotel so some wear in the building and the parking lot but overall a great experience. Would book again.
