"Boat Dock Bungalow" is a single-family home that has been completely remodeled down to the studs, offers a boat slip, has amazing water views and is only one block from the beach. This two bedroom sleeps and entertains more like a 3 bedroom due to the benefit of the loft. Whether you enjoy coffee in the morning, or a cocktail at the end of the day, you will cherish the moments spent on the back porch, watching the boaters, fishers, and the occasional dolphin. With the beach just a short walk away, you get the best of both worlds. On windy days when the ocean might be to rough for the little ones, the family can gather on the dock for some fun in the sun and the calmer waters. When you arrive, you will find parking in the driveway or under the home to keep the summer heat off of your vehicles. Scaling one level of stairs to access the main part of the house you are greeted by a completely remodeled home. As you walk in, you will find an open concept with a comfortable and well-appointed modern living room and adjacent kitchen and dining area. Guests quickly find their way to start stocking the fridge so that they may enjoy, entertain, and feast during their much-deserved vacation! Brand-new stainless-steel appliances and an extremely well stocked kitchen are sure to please the most critical chef in the family. The main floor has two separate bedrooms, each with a Full bed, fresh linens, and TV’s - everything you need and nothing you don’t. This floor also has 2 full baths that, like the rest of the home, have been completely redone. You will absolutely love all the personal touches the owner has provided for your stay. From the main area you find an open staircase that leads to a lofted area with 2 Full beds, desk, tv, and separate mini split HVAC to keep everyone cool and happy on those hot summer nights. This area is great for the kiddos! "Boat Dock Bungalow" is finally complete with the personal brand-new floating dock and private gazebo. Come and enjoy fishing, picnicking, or simply enjoying that fresh ocean breeze, this is the place you have been searching for. You will spend plenty of time out here, whether in the sun or protected by the shade, and memories will be shared by all. If you need water access but not a large home, or if you simply would ENJOY the perks it provides, this one is the gem for you. While you are on Pleasure Island, be sure to take in a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean and watch for playful dolphins swimming by often. You'll want to visit the Boardwalk area and enjoy some Britt's Doughnuts or a scoop of ice cream while the kids delight in the carnival rides. Take a trip down to Fort Fisher and visit the NC Aquarium, or drive your 4wd vehicle out onto the Beach at Freeman Park. There's fireworks every Thursday night in the summer, and the Farmer's Market at the lake on Saturdays is wonderful. Whatever you decide to do, you are sure to make lifelong memories! Do not let the listing name “remodeled” and pictures fool you! This house was disgusting and nothing was “remodeled”. Bryant company seem to be a big successful company with multiple listings throughout Carolina beach and Wilmington with a nice big main office building and friendly staff but sadly the condition of this beach house was so bad it was very unprofessional of them to still rent it out. Complete disgusting waste of our money. Here goes… Roaches! Horrible odor as soon as you enter. Walls had disgusting stains throughout the house that could have easily been cleaned up by them. Walls/ paint/ wall paper were peeling/ lifting from what looks like due to water damage from within the walls (We were worried of mold due to the smell of the house and seeing the condition of the walls). Shower heads! Shower heads were so disgusting literally covered and caked with mildew and mold! Beds smelled awful. House was completely outdated and old, they just added new appliances and a few nice TVs . We clearly didn’t see anything “Remodeled” I guess they’re definition of remodeled was just adding newer furniture. On the bright side the location was nice just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The dock was really nice, we spent 80% of our time out there hanging out and fishing if we weren’t out and about because no body wanted to be inside that nasty house. Check in and out was simple and easy. Overall highly disappointed on their professionalism with renting out that disgusting house. ##### Ricky X. Also loved having the boat dock. The main issue was the giant roaches (some call them palmetto bugs). I have lived in coastal locations much of my life, including Carolina Beach, and have never seen so many giant roaches inside of a house before. There were three upon arrival, and about two each subsequent day. Was extremely worried that they were going to crawl on me during the night and/or hitch a ride home in our luggage.
