Weekend getaway
So much for the kids to do outside in nature. It was a perfect getaway from Grand Rapids with a few friends and their kids. We drove to Frankenmuth for a part of the weekend but mostly enjoyed the amenities and the great outdoor space at the house. My kids asked if we could come back again.

Great place!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. So nice. Had a blast with the indoor basketball court! Water temp and pressure was great. Loved seeing all of the deer on the property! Would recommend to family or friends and we will book again.Thank you!

Perfect for a get together or just a few friends/family
Clean, spacious, secluded, quiet and just a short drive to Frankenmuth. Whether you are looking for a large space for a group or a fun get away, this place was perfect. People in my group, myself included are considering to return with family!

This property is a great get away, secluded with a ton of activities and games to stay entertained. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend renting here again!

Family Fun
This log home is exceptional! The space is great for a large family; Parents, kids, and grandchildren. All of the bedrooms were so spacious! Our daughter/son-in-law had the 1st-floor bedroom that was adjacent to the bunkroom where their kids slept. It was perfect for them. Upstairs was great for our son/daughter-in-law and their toddler. The pack-n-play provided was clean and fit easily in the room. The other kids claimed their space in the basement with the games and TV. The beds were fairly firm, you could tell they were newer and the pillows were very fluffy. The garage, yard, pond, and pole barn were all played in and the kids/grandkids had a fantastic time. The 20-minute drive to Frankenmuth was easy. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful log home with us.

Great Escape
Beautiful large cabin set on a truly awesome property. Hosts were communicative and helpful. It was cozy and gorgeous after the snowfall and I can’t wait to come back in the summer!

Perfect Stay in the Woods
We had six adults including my 91 year old mother. Consequently I was sensitive to accessibility and related issues. The hosts were outstanding in answering and addressing my many questions prior to our arrival. The property was breathtaking and perfect for providing an experience in the woods without giving up necessary connectivity for work. The proximity to Frankenmuth was a big plus allowing us to enjoy the town and easily escape back to our retreat. The owners had only recently acquired the property (we stayed in October) and were very open to suggestions for adding certain conveniences for future stays. Great setting, great house, fun REC barn, and great Michigan hospitality. I look forward to repeating the experience.

Very cozy property
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Especially for being “hunkered down” due to snow, I don’t think we could have picked a better place! Plenty of room, amenities, and activities to keep us occupied. This place has a true log cabin charm that makes it very special. Would definitely stay again!

Pine tree cabin
No pillows available for guests beds. Only pillows with shams on the beds. Limited towels for 10 guests. We went and bought more toilet paper and tissues. The ice in the freezer was clomped together. There needs to be some window treatments in the bedrooms. The light in the tree line was so bright all night with no window treatments. All in all clean, except the basketball garage. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Country Retreat
We enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was clean and accurate to the description. We especially enjoyed the pond, fire pit, and indoor basketball court. We'd stay here again.
