Close to the heart of this famous Scottish golf town this fantastic three-bedroom cottage is perfect for families or groups visiting this lovely area.

Just minutes from the golden sandy beach of Carnoustie Bay and the legendary links golf courses, the flexible accommodation is split over 2 floors. Benefitting from modern styling, home comforts and an excellent outdoor space, The Albatross is the perfect setting for an un-fore-gettable.

The space

The cottage is tastefully furnished and boasts a bright and comfortable lounge/dining space with a modern, monochrome open-plan kitchen. Patio doors open onto a pleasant paved area which catches the sun and is ideal for outdoor entertaining and barbeques. The large enclosed garden is well maintained and planted with attractive Scottish heathers. It makes a great space for families with children or pets.

Inside, there are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom with a double sofa bed for any extra guests. There’s a bath for soaking those muscles after a challenging round on the golf course plus two separate showers. Freeview TV with Netflix services and free WIFI are also included.

LOCATION

Situated towards the eastern end of this pleasant Angus town, there are local shops, pubs and cafes withing walking distance. With a bus stop and train station close by, as well as easy connections to the main roads, the transport links are excellent too. The local area has lots of interesting attractions including museums such as V & A Dundee, shopping in Dundee and Arbroath and of course several other first class golf courses including St Andrews.

Family break

Provided comfortable surroundings for a family of 4 and a baby. Plenty of parking space and close to town. Had thought the garden was enclosed for my sons dog but the side fence beside the garage was down which was a shame.

Good location well managed

Nice house, clean, great location, super parking, lovely soft towels. Management team absolutely on the ball. Unfortunately, the property lacked the kind of attention to detail I would like to give it 5 stars. I have shared these with the management company who seem to have taken it in. I would be interested to find out if they had been sorted out as quickly as the small issue we had when we were staying.
