"The outdoor areas in the common areas are very nice, as are most of the rooms with balconies - with spacious outdoor areas. Not all rooms have outdoor areas. Dislike: parking can be rough. Small spaces close together, so sometimes you end up parking in the front of the restaurant or other far off areas to find a space, and go top it off, they charge $30 a day for parking."

"Wonderful cabins with full bathrooms right near Carmel Beach (driving distance). Fire pits were a wonderful way to spend time with an extended group at night. The grocery store across the street was also convenient."

"Fantastic hotel! Very serene and organic modern aesthetic. The breakfast buffet presented as small bites was delicious. Also the mushroom pizza on the dinner menu is a must try. The location is perfect for daily strolls to see the shops and restaurants. We will definitely plan to stay at here for our next stay in Carmel by the Sea."
