The hotel was good and the staff were fine (we didn't really have much to do with them apart from at check-in). We were visiting the Carlsbad Caverns and the hotel was at the wrong end of town for the Caverns, most of the restaurants and food shops - there were some fast food outlets nearby (MacDonalds, Subway etc). Most restaurants seem to close on Sundays so if that's when you're in Carlsbad you may have to make do with a Domino's delivery or a hamburger etc from one of the chains.

Stopped here for one night and glad we did so. Huge storm arrived with us and the hotel was the perfect place to relax and wait for the storm to clear. Big room, great staff and unexpected but welcome delicious free breakfast. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or fitness room, but looked good.

a lovely self contained site with outside amenities and close to restaurants. the main draw was Carlsbad Caverns which are an amazing natural phenomenon

Nice hotel with great staff. Decent room, shower and large bed all good. Noisy AC but normal for this type of hotel I think. There's an okay restaurant next to the hotel and a Walmart next door.

Excellent Hotel in a location which really suited us for our needs

I did not like the fact of a dog yapping constantly for 2 hrs in the room next to me to be told by reception “It is a dog friendly hotel” I had to complain Twice before they asked the owner to keep the dog quiet ☹️

Great one night stay. Lots of places to eat nearby. Pool was fab, breakfast so so not really my cup of tea as i prefer self service but this one was cooked for you. Good locationclose to White Sands N.P andcould borrow sleds free to use which was really good.
