We want you to feel like staying with your close friends in a cozy and relaxing environment.

Exterior : Enclosed by tall trees and secured fence, our big yard allows you to have friends and family join you. We also have boogie boards, beach gear, fire pit, grill, outdoor shower, outdoor heaters, and even an extra shed for your kids to camp out. It is also safe for pets to run around.

Jim was great, he had great communication skills and made check in easy! We left LA early to avoid traffic and Jim allowed us to have an early check in at no cost. The property was well maintained and is a home away from home, great location next to shops, beach, and restaurant. Check-in and check out process was easy.

Always A Great Stay!

My husband and I always enjoy staying here. Jim has created such a cool vibe to the cottage and outdoor yard space, that we love. The location is perfect to the beach and also into town. Can't wait for the next time!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here. We had the most relaxing, enjoyable time. The yard is beautiful and private! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach and town are just a short walk away. We hardly used our car. Jim is a great host. He even had a little gift for us when we got there. We will definitely be going back!

Excellent house and location

The house was just as described in the listing but the yard stole the show. The location is one block from the beach and parking was very easy. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Carlsbad Winter Getaway

The cottage is wonderful including an awesome fenced in yard. Our host Jim was very helpful and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage which is a short walk to the beach and downtown.

Great Location

We enjoyed staying at this bungalow right by the beach. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the host was very kind and accommodating. Close to lots of restaurants and in the center of the action. Thank you for a great stay.

Even better than the pictures

This was one of the easiest places we have ever stayed at. Everything from the check in to the outdoor lights was stress free. A fantasic yard that the pictures didn't really capture. The inside space was cozy and well layed out. Very pet friendly. Really loved this place and can't wait to stay again.

Perfect getaway at the beach!

This house is in the perfect location, quiet and walking distance to everything. The outdoor space is awesome and the house has everything you could possibly need for a beach getaway. Jim is the best host, he answered all my questions about the town and had great recommendations for local activities/eats...absolutely will be back!

Great location, yard!

We had a great time in Carlsbad staying at this property. The enclosed yard was perfect for my young kids to explore. Walking distance to everything in the village. And Jim was super knowledgeable and very communicative.

Fantastic house near the beach

We loved every detail of this place. The patio and yard are so inviting and comfortable that we almost didn’t want to go anywhere, but the beach is a short walk away and so are the restaurants and shops. It was easy to come and go. Jim is a super friendly and thoughtful host.

Best Experience!

We had an incredible time with our 2 tiny pups. The pictures do not do the place justice. Jim is a very gracious host. A sweet gift upon our arrival and so many unexpected touches. Jim also reached out to us to let us know that the place was ready and if we wanted to check in early we could. It was an easy walk to Carlsbad Village and the Beach. We would definitely like to visit again.

5 day vacation

This cottage was amazing! Jim is a phenomenal host, it has everything you need, and a short walk to the beach and downtown Carlsbad Village. You can park your vehicle behind the front gate which is very safe and secure. Everyone in the area is super nice, the yard is very big, we were able to bring our dog and there were no concerns of her getting out. our family and dog will be back.

Great stay

This property was clean and well supplied with goodies and necessities. The neighborhood was quiet and close to town and to the beach. The yard was comfortable and attractive with art work and water features. Jim was very helpful and friendly, giving us info on hikes, dog friendly beaches and activities in town.
