This hotel is close to rail station. There are restaurants nearby. There seemed to be an issue with rubish collection as there were lots of bags of trash in front on many of the properties. However, the hotel, itself, and it's property were clean. I really enjoyed the friendly staff. My room was a nice comfortable size. And, the property was quiet; I was able to get good sleep after touring the city.

Staff were nice and the room was spacious, sparse and warm. They should put all the stag and hen parties in certain wings though away from normal city visitors.We were kept awake till 3 in the morning! You can park in the roads around the hotel and we chanced not paying as no other cars had parking permits. So basically this hotel was great value for money not the cleanest and room allocation needs work!.

Good value for money. Only issues for us were that i think the washers in the sink taps need replacing. We liked having an actual key for the room - far better than a card. Clean and Tidy. Opening windows which was a god send compared to our previous nights stay at the Angel !. To have a working tv was nice. And the room was a lovely temperature. Was absolutely ideally located for the Tramshed and we had a great evening. We will be back.

Check in staff were welcoming, the bed linen was clean and fresh , as for the quality of the room below avaravge ,I dont think you could have supplied a cheaper more uncomfortable mattress if you tried. Based on all the the above and more i won't be returning.

Awful location. Room was absolutely a disgrace where we had to get a full refund which took us being passed from person person as contact number for complaints was not the right number. The heat in the room caused us no sleep all night and headaches in the morning. The shower was stuck on boiling hot so unable to shower. I don’t not suggest booking this accommodation.

Good stay overall, but the hotel could do with some improvements. Windows were very hard to shut so it meant the first night of our stay was freezing in our room. The walls were also very thin so we could hear every little interaction outside. The shower was more like a light drizzle of water and the lift also wasn't working (this normally wouldn't be an issue but I have trouble walking up stairs due to health issues so it didn't help). We were told that the hotel had just opened so hopefully these are just some teething problems that can be fixed later down the line. Despite this, the staff were super lovely and I would consider staying here again in the future.

staff were lovely and friendly. The property was hard to find as the name on expedia and name on google maps are different. The room smelt of cigarettes. The mattresses weren’t comfy and everytime you moved the springs made a noise. We booked a room with a double bed and were given a room with three single beds. The entire property needs some major updates, the bathroom sink and bath were brown and the floor looked a bit grubby.

pictures showed a totally different room carpet was different layout of the room was different it looked clean, my carpet was grotty looked like multiple stains bathroom smelled as well as the main room, he wall in the shower was pealing and the window sill in the bathroom was dirty. Booked a double room but was given a room with 4 single beds. Could hear the person in the next room snoring. Room was dirty - used a towel to dry the bathroom floor and it came up with black marks. Room was weirdly missing bedside lamps. Kettle didn’t work.
