It comprehensively and cleverly incorporates everything you may need as a traveller. Very clean and with all the utensils and facilities in the right place. As a host he is top notch, quickly replying to any questions and happy to advise on restaurants etc, as well as proactively making contact to check all is ok.A perfect base for exploring Carcassonne and the surrounding area. In the kitchen there was every appliance you could wish for. The air conditioning was efficient and really necessary. We ate all our meals on the terrace and shade was available throughout the day.The bed was very comfortable and having two bathrooms was very convenient. In general it was very quiet and nicely placed for a 10 minute walk into town and a boulangerie was only a few minutes walk away as was a Carrefour.The secure parking was a huge boon as everything seems to be paid parking in Carcassonne.We would highly recommend this place. ##### Christopher G. It is an easy walk into town and a comfortable one to the Medieval City. The garage parking is a big plus and the air conditioning and ceiling fans make for being comfortable even in a heatwave. The kitchen is small but very well equipped and the terrace is well shaded and pleasant. Above all, the hosts Stéphane and Ann-Laure really want to make you welcome and act promptly to sort out any problems. Despite it being France's most intense heatwave so far this century, we were always cool enough in the flat and as there were only 2 of us, it was never crowded. ##### John S. It is a beautiful and very well thought through apartment with private balcony and very effective aircon throughout. All furniture and equipment was very up to date and in immaculate condition. Stéphan was a fantastic host, he gave us all the information we needed and was always ready to answer any questions but in a totally non-invasive way. The parking was an amazing bonus in such a busy city and also afforded us secure storage for our bikes. The surrounding area had loads to offer, Carcassonne has so much going on throughout the summer and there are great bike rides along the canal with lovely towns to stop off in. Même au château de Carcassonne ils ne sont pas équipés comme ça.... Blagues mises à part: deux chambres, deux salles de bains, climatisation et ventilateurs au plafond partout et une belle terrasse individuelle pour prendre les repas ou se reposer. J'ai regretté le fait de ne jamais voir le propriétaire mais nos échanges par message ont toujours été rapides, courtois et efficaces. J'aurais voulu le remercier de vive voix de cette semaine mais l'avantage de la boîte à clés est aussi que nous n'ayons eu aucune pression horaire pour l'arrivée et le départ. En général, on prend un RDV et si on a 5/10 minutes de retard (acceptable en vacances) je commence à m'énerver alors que là nous avons fait tout ce que nous voulions sans pression. Un superbe souvenir et si je dois retourner à Carcassonne je ne chercherai pas d'autre point de chute. ##### Renaud D. In addition, the hosts could not have been sweeter or more accomodating. We are two couples with a car who booked a last minute stay here. The price was very affordable compared to hotels in the area. What a great surprise that it was perfect in almost every way. We only stayed a few days, but would have been happy in this place for weeks. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean with well-thought out amenities. The master bedroom is a very private ensuite. The ONLY caution about the apartment is that the second bedroom is not as private (but it does have a separate bathroom and shower that are very nice). There is an outdoor dining area, indoor dining /lounging area, washer/dryer in the unit and a spacious private garage shared only with the owner. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Jodee T.
