The stay in Alto Pass is charming, I've never stayed in a 300 person town. We stayed in the front unit and it was comfortable, and extremely clean... no dust bunnies, left over food, or random unwanted hairs in sight lol. The town itself does have short trail right outside the front door, a small corner store, and a bourbon bar across the street. There is also a winery 3minutes driving. So many good things about this house- great location, so cute, stocked with snacks. My two complaints are 1) the furniture. The couch and chairs are flaking leather, and it’s all over the floors. You can’t lay on the couch, the flakes get everywhere then. I found them in the bed, in my hair… I think that needs to be taken care of. 2) we found a dead mouse in a trap under the couch. Really wish that would have been checked and dealt with before we got there. All in all, I do recommend this house still. Location is solid, it’s so close to wineries and the bourbon bar, and there’s a hiking trail right outside. And the store front makes for a cute getaway house. ##### laura b.
