"GORGEOUS HOME WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS! The home was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. It was spacious and comfortable. The views from the porch are gorgeous!A few small things to keep in mind - Some of the pools in the development might not be open when you go, so if you're counting on the kiddie pool, for example, check before you go. It was closed when we went. Also, the outdoor pool that was open is on the small side and not necessarily worth the 15 per person fee unless you're a smaller group or really enjoy spending a big chunk of the day by the pool. Note that the house does not have tissues, any shampoo etc, or laundry detergent. The foosball ball was missing which was disappointing for my kids. The playground is very nice, new looking, pretty and clean. Overall, it was an amazing vacation and an absolutely gorgeous home with views that are priceless. The host was responsive and getting in and out was super smooth."

"Beautiful & clean home on a double lot, directly on the Chincoteague Bay, with a private dock and 3 levels of balconies. There are empty lots on each side- so it's private. My 29, 12, and 10 year old "kids" LOVED crabbing. Everything that you need (except for the bait- chicken) is there waiting for you! We also saw stingrays, jellyfish, and bioluminescent sea walnuts (flashing, light up jellyfish-like creatures that don't sting). You could swim- we didn't after seeing all the fun stuff in the water! The perseid meteor shower gave us a great show a few nights too. Check-in could not have been easier- they text you a code. The host answered my question immediately. The house is located in the Captain's Cove Golf & Yacht Club community. There is a community pool/tiki bar/restaurant about a 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) from the house. The amenity fee when we were there was 15 per person for the pool (you pay at the desk when you walk in each day) but drinks and food prices were very reasonable and the food was good. The pool was open from 1-8pm for guests. They were closed one day during our stay. If you have kids and plan on swimming- I would reach out directly to get the pool hours because what was online wasn't accurate during our stay. Chincoteague Island is apx 25 minutes by car. Nearest grocery store is 20 mins away- Instacart delivered, but no restaurants are close by- so no food deliveries. Kitchen has everything you need though! It was a great stay."

"Comfortable house on the water. It was a good stay. All things considered we were very satisfied. My only real complaint was the bed in the master suite; just did not belong in the same house as the other furnishings. In need of an upgrade. My wife preferred the one upstairs much better. Otherwise, a very comfortable place. Would recommend."
