"Excellent stay! Staff was helpful and friendly at check in. Room was clean and well laid out. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were a bit too soft and mushy, but that is personal preference. Breakfast was hot tasty and well stocked. We were able to charge our EV at the 2 Tesla Universal chargers, which can charge both NACS (Tesla connector) as well as J1772 vehicles. Ample parking. The view out the back over the water is great!"

"Our family of six adults spent a week enjoying Chincoteague from the comfort of Blue Sea Star. The living space and kitchen were spacious and it had great big living room TV for streaming and gaming. We made good use of the full-size gas grill and the washer and dryer. The home was clean and was within easy biking and driving distance to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We enjoyed our time here. Given the house's occupancy capacity, we recommend guests bring their own consumable staples - trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry and dish soap, and salt/pepper."

"This is our second time staying at the Cozy Nest. The house is well located and has just about everything you need for a weekend at the beach, including two lovely porches. The only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is that the amenities are a bit dated (which is ok since it's just an old beach house with beach house vibes), we couldn't get the DVD player to work (again, wasn't the end of the world), and we again had to make all of the beds ourselves with the clean sheets provided, which was manageable but makes the kick-off to a vacation weekend feel a bit more like you're still at home! But if you're looking for a true basic beach house that is convenient and dog-friendly, this is the place for you!"
