Everything was great from the start. Location excellent, in a quiet street of the main one. We have walked home every night even thought we had a hire car and I don't drink. The location was really safe and within 200 metres of the main road with all the restaurants and other attractions. The apartment was perfect. Everything you needed and more. Comunication with the owner was excellent throughout.

Fantastic stay here. Comfortable and clean. Fantastic buffet menu and marvellous staff. Great decor and very relaxing. Nice to have filtered water taps in the corridors. Parking for disabled was right outside the hotel. Gym was small but useful. Lots of tasty restaurants around the area. So cheap to jump into an UBER to visit Cape Town waterfront

Gorgeous George is a fantastic hotel. Nice location for the CBD, Company Gardens, various of the museums etc. The hotel has wonderful character, its full of art and crazy collections of things. The staff are wonderful, they are the best. Such a welcome and they make you right at home. The Gigi restaurant is fantastic too, great food. The rooftop setting is perfect. Great location room and breakfast!

A beautiful property overlooking the sea. We really loved staying here. Very clean and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here for the views, whales, walks and just relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was comfortable and we were well looked after. Our room was up stairs and a slightly awkward space, but it goes with a characterful old building and was not a problem.The breakfast was extremely good.

I cannot recommend highly enough. I stayed for 5 nights in September and would return tomorrow if i could. The hotel itself is lovely with a lovely garden, it looks out over the park, there is tea and cake available every afternoon and it feels so homely. The staff are faultless and could not be nicer or more helpful if they tried, it was such a pleasure to stay there and is only a few minutes walk from the centre but lovely and quiet.

Great location in the middle of Stellenbosch. Friendly staff - especially impressed with concierge/security team. Lovely corner room but would have benefitted from second glazing also on side window as a fair bit of traffic/street noise. Also, would have been good to have internal phone numbers listed for when you want to get hold of reception/restaurant etc. Will stay again
